I resized and printed a drain plug - it came out slightly oblong. I wondered if I had evenly smooshed the sides or if my printer was out of alignment. So I made a 50mm medalion and printed it. Wow - that is pretty much as perfect as one can get - it’s exactly 50mm in both X & Y directions! Turns out I had not evenly resized the drain plug (phew?).
