I started this (Quadcopter) project to learn and to explore and so I did.
But sometimes you don’t end up where you first set out to.
So while I have learned alot from it I’m abandoning this project even though it’s not finished. It would probably fly but the work I have to out in to hook up all the electronics and such is just not worth it. I’ll take what I’ve learned and start over another time.
I will release the files anyway for anyone who might want to check it out. =)

I like it. It has a more organic shape than others.

arms are printed in 2 parts, right?

@Jarek_Szczepanski Yes, one of the goals was to try to not go by the common designs and not to use rectangular shapes as the Truggy. I also wanted to enclose the electronics and wires. There are vent holes missing and some other details are also though.
So yes, the arms are split vertically.

Whew, thought you were abandoning the truggy project for drones at first.

It’s hard avoiding spreading ones efforts too thin and still work on all the things one is interested in.

This is very cool looking I would live to try building one. Look forward to seeing the files posted.

@Daniel_Noree whenever you decide to continue your quad maybe this will come in handy http://www.instructables.com/id/DIY-Quadcopter-Drone/ (just found it today)
