I switched to Repetier Firmware 0.91.8 for my SeeMeCNC Rostock Max V1 printer earlier this year. I just noticed that with my heated bed temperature in the 90’s and the set temperature being 85, it was still occasionally turning on the power at 100%. It is set to dead-wait. It is cooling down and now at 87.3. Perhaps some settings are not correct in the dead wait configuration, but I am not familiar enough with it to adjust it and I am not sure if it will hurt any. The higher starting temperature seems to help it stick. I imagine it might promote base shrinkage though. Meanwhile, I have not had much problems of the parts warping off of the bed lately.

No warp, no problem, just add a brim and thats all

That is what I figure too, but I wanted to make a public record of that in case it causes trouble for someone else. It is a bit odd.
