I think I finally nailed the settings on my Simple. The best print yet. Both sides of the snowflake.
That’s nice hopefully I can get a printer soon
I’m really impressed with what I can do with this 300$ kit printer.
Well done! What filament and settings did you use?
Looks to me like you’re probably overextruding a hair. But your first layer looks like it should. Means you’re likely a smidge away from the bed as well. The defined nozzle moves that you see along the perimeter also means something is up with your microstepping, likely a driver that needs to be adjusted (also I notice that you get it a lot in a single direction, less so in the other axis, so probably only 1 driver that needs the adjustment. Which orientation was it printed in?). Though the scale is a little hard to determine, so it might just be simply that the item is small.
@Joshua_Marinacci $300? thats not bad…
Yes. The item is small. About 5cm. But there’s definitely more tweaking to do.
@Quierra_Wells the amazing thing is that the material cost on that is probably on the 1-3 cents range.
Which thingiverse item is that?
Looks like a good snowflake but thingiverse has so many…
One of the featured ones. I think it was these:
