It seems pretty obvious that you might have some association with this group based on how much you post about them on your profile and in other groups. If you have an association with this group, we ask you to please mention it when you’re posting in regards to them. This is to help others know when there is a bias involved.
As for the post itself, this group has had a very aggressive advertising campaign and you’ve posted this or similar things to multiple communities. I will not remove this post today, although another mod might, but please don’t do it again. We like contributions here, not marketing.

I thought this group is directly connected with 3d printing, I’m sorry if something I did wrong.
It is related to 3d printing, but we take a rather dim view of spammers, and we consider a profile to be spamming if they post a lot advertising their stuff, which the original group you shared from did, or if the poster consistently posts or shares the same thing to multiple communities in order to gather interest or advertise, which you seem to do regarding this group.
We also request that people who are affiliated to specific groups tell that they are affiliated. These things are outlined in our community rules.
As moderators, it’s a bit difficult at times to always make the right call and not hurt feelings. In general, if you can ask yourself these 3 questions and answer with a “Yes”, then you should be good:
- Is this related to 3D printing?
- Does this benefit the community in some way (I.e. Sharing of knowledge, ideas, new printer designs, questions, etc.) or is it more to the benefit of the poster or thing that’s being posted about?
- Have you posted about it in no other or only a few other communities? In other words, if it just seem like a profile that only exists to post about this thing in any community that might be tangentially interested, we generally give a warning if it’s printer related and ban if it’s not.
If you’re afraid to post again, feel free to tag either myself, @foosel , @ThantiK , or one of the other mods in the post if you’d like to make sure it’s good.
