I thought I’d just post this as it’s my first 3d scan with an Xbox kinect and skanect free. I can’t believe how well it has come out with no processing other than what skanect doors automatically.

Thank you, it’s probably the best print I’ve had out of my Hictop. I think i might have to dress the daughter up in different costumes to make a chess set. Although I doubt she’ll go for that.
I’ll have to try this for scanning my DJI Mavic remote control. Would der how detailed it would be with a small object like that.
I’m not sure how that would end up, I think I read somewhere the minimum focal distance is 400mm so as long as it’s well lit to get the definition you might be ok.
