I took a thingiverse 6" rack design and with a few mods made an all in one box to hold PSU, controller, LCD and even room to put in a RasPi and a touchscreen. I am waiting on a custom board so that all wiring coming out of the printer except for power terminates at a ribbon cable connector. That way the printer becomes a largely mechanical contrivance. Ultimately I’d like to stack multiple controllers in one case and a switch to select the active printer as far as the LCD is concerned. I think I can convert one of my old server enclosures to hold a bunch of boards and LCDs and run as many as 4 printers from a single chassis, especially if I have multiple PSUs.
