I use my old GoPro camera alot and i move it from tripods to rc cars, quads etc alot and having a frame with a quick release function makes things alot easier.
When my GoPro frame broke i decided to make my own 3DPrinted version.
The original GoPro frames are design and tested to survive pretty extreme drops, shocks and vibrations, as well at being fit by a large wave.
While not everyone needs that, and can use something like this, it’s best that people understand the limitations and risks.
Actually, scratch that wave bit. I’m thinking of the newer frames for the Sessions and Hero 5 Black. As those cameras don’t have a waterproof housing for up to 10m immersion, those frames have to survive a wave hit without the camera getting dislodged.
