I want to make heatbed about 40x40cm by aluminium. How can i do it? please. Thanks

Better off just buying one

Cut Aluminium to 40x40 and attach a 20x20 Heat bed. Proper insulation and relay interface will speed up the heating process.

Must be perfect flat, buy one.

Buy a milled aluminum plate and attach a custom-made full-size silicone heater with at least 1kW of heating power ->

Tom is right. You can just get a piece of aluminum cut and a custom heat bed

wouldn’t recommend it, as even with a relatively thick aluminum plate, you’ll still have a significant temperature dropoff towards the edges.

A 1/4" or 6mm plate has a significant thermal mass. Not sure if temperature fluctuation would be a concern w a silicon heat pad
