I wanted to see how much of a beating the rim i printed in Taulmans Nylon 645 would stand before it broke.

Nice! I’ve only broken one (1) ABS printed & aceton treated rim yet, and that was sliding sideways into a gate. Have you tried glueing the tire on the nylon rim?

@Emile_Wim Well, i just smashed my only nylon rim, no use of glueing that i guess… :wink:
Just kidding! I´m out of Nylon right now but as soon as i get another shipment i´ll get right on it!

The rim looks amazingly good for a nylon printed one. I still find it a bit difficult to work with.

I would set up a test with the rim sitting like it would on the truck to measure abusability.
