I was printing as usual with my j-head on a Sells Mendel.

I was printing as usual with my j-head on a Sells Mendel. I came down to check out the print and found my hot end completely obliterated. I was using a j-head from http://hotends.com and printing ABS at 210 degrees. I had no fan which I think is the cause.

The thermistor was working and does not appear to be the cause of a thermal runaway.

Does anyone know if I can salvage the hotend, and put it back into operation, or would I have to simply purchase a new one?

Also, are there any instructions on how to completely disassemble the J-head Mk-V?

But most importantly, can I salvage the hotend?
