I was reading about this brush on 3D print coating – looks interesting, but was wondering if anyone has actually tried it?

I’ve used it, it leaves a good finish but needs multiple coats sometimes, also it’s a two-part epoxy style mix and you need serious ventilation or to use it outside on a nice day.

Interesting. Yeah I wondered about the fumes and it sounds pretty exothermic. Still… may have to try some.

Totally worth a look, I had tried a number of UV hardening clearcoat-like gels my wife uses for nails, they “work” but can get lumpy, they aren’t designed for large flat surfaces. This stuff smooths out much more nicely. Worth getting the smaller kit to see if you like it.

I’ve used it to coat 3d pinter parts. Makes them strong as all heck. Kind of hard to prevent drip/sag on vertical part surfaces unless you do coating in horizontal layers to prevent run off . I do use glue/chip brush. Might have better control with a foam paint brush.
I’ve used tons of 2-part epoxies for years in my wood shop. This is the first one that doesn’t have an annoying noxious odor. You know it doesn’t, when the wife doesn’t complain about the smell in the living room !
