I wiped PEI build plate with acetone and it seems to loose adhesiveness. Is anybody have same experience?
PEI is against acetone?

PEI should not be used with acetone as the acetone will dissolve the matrix. PEI can be gently scraped with a razor blade to remove stuck on particles and then wiped with isopropyl alcohol to remove filament residue.

I wiped out surface with sandpaper and it sticks well again.
I believe that PEI sheet should not be cleaned with acetone.

Same thing happens if you try to clean Buildtak sheets with acetone. Completely broke it down.

@Danut_Lipsa Is yours pure PEI or glass reinforced(i.e, ultem 2300) ?

@Danut_Lipsa Very strange, it is same as mine ‘ASTM D5205’. I bought it from Amazon too, though not exactly same as you linked.
