I worked up a wooden dust shoe cut with the R7.

I worked up a wooden dust shoe cut with the R7. It is two pieces and held in place with neo magnets to make it easy to change bits, set Z zero, and see what you are doing. The duct tape was a test before installing velcro…it works fine and maximizes the ugly factor. I used scrap 1/2" plywood which is perfect to sandwich the spindle clamp.

Fumbling through adding photos…

The slot for the spindle shaft is key. The shoe can be installed or removed with a bit in place…even one buried in a workpiece.

Top plate with brush removed.

There really is no need for the neo magnets around the hose fitting. The hose nozzle fits through all the pieces so the brush should stay put. In fact, a little vertical float might be a good thing.

@Don_Price great make brother! Like the simplicity and look forward to seeing your testing.

Is there an easy way post the CamBam files?

The forum works but all us seem to stay here.
Add everything to a google drive.
Get the shareable link and post here. Then anyone interested will be able to follow the link.

In my Google drive I made a public folder and I just put everything there. So far that is the best way I have found.
