I would like a place to starting sticking DXFs. Is there an obvious “thingiverse” just for DXFs? Few sites I have seen didn’t really have anything of interest.

Yeah, looked at that as an option. Be nice though if there was one specific to the CnC guys.

A site just for one specific file format? YouMagine is fine for DXFs, I’ve posted several there.

I use github to store stl and step files. DXF should be fine (but you’d need to learn git). You could also get a Dropbox account for free. You can share entire directories.

I’d vote for Youmagine, too. Whichever site you go with, it would be nice if it was searchable for such things. GrabCAD is too focused on visuals that are not necessarily ready to be made.

I use youmagine for that. Also I like putting official version controlled files on github. It works really good.
