I wrote an article about 3D printing and what it means for millennials. I’m really anxious to get my hands on my own 3D printer.

I’d love to get some feedback from those with more 3D printing experience. Check it out and let me know what you think!

Cheaper than ever.

I can’t wait for that to come to market, @Matthew_Read .

Me either! I’ll have to skip this round but I’m definitely keeping an eye on it.

Awesome article, really enjoyed it.

Thanks, @Will_Dent

I use a printrbot LC,(like the plus) I bought the kit and built it in the summer. Now about 9 months later I’m getting really high quality prints. Definitely a learning curve. I had it printing after a few days but the quality wasn’t good until about 3 weeks later. If you don’t have time to put into this, don’t buy it but if you do, it’s a good price.

I have an Up Plus 2, and I absolutely love it. Its a little expensive (got mine during an xmas sale for $1300) but means that I spend zero time tweaking the printer and all of my time working on 3D designs, prints amazingly well. I am not sure that tiny cheap printer will give you guys the satisfaction you want.

@Matthew_Read it will be at least half a year until the micro hits the market.

@Anthony_Roderman get a Makibox or a Printrbot

I’m looking to just get my feet wet in 3D printing for now. I really just want one to play with. I’ll look into those @Nils_Hitze
