I’d like to give a huge THANK YOU to this community! I’m getting great prints after about two weeks of tinkering thanks to all of the wonderful knowledge that is shared here every day!

I got pretty good prints from my Simple from the first go with the filament came it and default settings (not quite as good as yours). However, I’ve tried a couple of other filaments and I get far more failures, warping and layer separations. Got any good tips? Where are the best sources for info? Thanks.

I was changing too many things at first, which makes it hard to sort out the cause of things. So, I basically went back to the recommended settings and worked from there, only changing one thing at a time.

The biggest improvements came from:
Tedious extruder calibration (steps/mm and temperature)
Lowering the X/Y acceleration and jerk in the firmware.
Turning up the extruder temp and cooling (210C with 60-100% fan speed).
Preheating the bed with a hairdryer.
