If I use a 60 degree vbit to carve out my relief from wood, is there another bit that will help me clean up the surface? Or do I get to get my hand dirty with some sand paper?

I used a 60 degree bit and it doesn’t need cleaning up after

Oh cool, so the surface will appear smooth? What wood type did you try it on?

I’ve used mdf pine sapele a mahogany walnut and oak

The pros sandblast I believe.

You could use a flat endmill if there are pockets and big, flat surfaces - but the bevel is already sharp.

60 degree bit should be fine depending on your step over shouldn’t need any cleaning

I use a 60 degree bit all the time. Mainly on hardwoods (Oak, Walnut, Maple), the surface cuts clean with a sharp bit. Softer woods I prefer using sanding sealer first.
