If I want to connect my heater and thermoster to my ramps, is there any polarity on the wires? As in do they have to go in a certain way (one heater wire in particular goes to + and one thermoster wire goes to +)

Thermistor no polarity. Hotbed depending on what kind you have if there is polarity or not.

While, i suppose the thermistor does have polarity, if you make it wring the temperature will go contrary, but will hurt nothing.

@Lee_Gao nope, thermistors do not have a polarity (you’re probably thinking thermocouples). Neither do heater elements (which are basically just large resistors).
Unless you use a solid-state relay or external transistor to take the switching load off the RAMPS, but if you directly hook up he heater to the board, it does not matter.

The general electrical convention is red wire is positive (+) and black wire is negative (-), if you have these symbols/colors matched up you generally should be fine, if there is no indication the polarity should not matter. But as always some cheap manufacturers fail to indicate this or follow recognised conventions, so use this as a guide not a rule.
