I agree, but watch out for friction between the fabric and the piece that slides up and down the rails. Hopefully, it is minimal and not causing any delta arm blues.

Where are you sailing away to?

Also, I notice it’s blocking your power supply fan vent. Be careful, or better yet maybe u can hit the hardware store and get some cheap y wood since it seems you don’t mind the not seeing the action. That would be a good solution for u

I’m using aluminum foil
Need to order my acrylic soon.

If u do @Rick_Sollie let us know your source. Every where I seen is expensive

@Rick_Sollie I used aluminum foil before. You really only seem to need it on the lower 1ft of it.

I use a clear garbage bag awkwardly clipped to my frame. Believe me, your towel-tapestries look way better than my solution!

Confessions of DIY 3d printer owners!

@kenneth_rooks it’s a local shop where I can buy it by the sheet 4x8

i’m building a 5ft tall delta, and i’m scavenging glass windows to make an enclosure at the moment i’d prefer acrylic tho

you think they would ship? u in the US?

Why?

Pay no attention to the delta behind the curtain…

Function over form for me any day of the week

It’s very cheap and I think more usable/practical than foil.
