If the shoe fits… it must be 3D printed
niiiice, do you have the stl?(and want to share it, of course)
It is on Thingiverse under my profile (wd5gnr) – I’ll post a direct link in a bit
What type of material is it made from?
ABS
How did you get measurements to make a perfect fitting shoe?
I have been wanting to test the waters with printing shoes for a while, but how to get the proper form fitting measurements is the most daunting task- is there a 3D scanning and rendering program you used?
@Steve_Sharp Actually it was just a play on words. The shoe doesn’t fit anyone and you wouldn’t want to wear an ABS shoe unless you were, perhaps, a plastic figurine
Sorry for the misunderstanding.
You could totally wear a Nylon shoe though…
i understand that, but ive been wondering a while now, an insole can be added and a rubber bottom layer would be ideal to be bonded somehow, but the structure, fit and art would make it usable.
