If you have a Kossel and use rubber bands between the carbon fibre rods to reduce noise give them a check once in a while. My wife complained that mine was rather noisy, the blasted things had perished, lost all tension.
Rubber bands do dry out. Find something better to use.
True, I need some small tension springs.
It might even be possible to use a sponge or similar (just thinking outside the box)
Sponge can do wonders in noise reduction.
O-rings are much better quality rubber.
Polyurethane orings are very good for this.
i have never heard of this… the Kossel is delta armed? where would these go as I have a seemecnc Rostock max…
