If you need reduce wide of your belt for use it in special profile , you can cut yourself with this new tool.

why would I want to cut myself? I’d prefer to cut the belt or buy it in the proper width in the first place.

because :

  1. 4.5/4.8 belt not present in market
  2. semplicty to find localy standard gt2 belt
  3. other point of view are a wallet, check price of gt2 5mm wide from standard 6mm wide 7euro meter vs 2.99euro meter.
  4. just received other comment nice hack for helicopter rc belt too.(surely same for point 2-3)

to be perfect belts should be printed for the need :wink:

@christophe_malvasio on a dual extruder machine, one nozzle printing flexible and another nozzle printing out molten steel for the reinforcing! Now there’s a printer I’d like.

Wow, i am swapping all my gt2 belts from 6mm to 9mm. Got great deals on bundles from aliexpress. Much better grip and control on very tight infill.
