Every so often I like to play around with Verilog, but cannot imagine what you dudes go through. Every single f’ing clock cycle on many different platforms. Crikey! Much grovelling on our part, to be sure. . .

Y’all showing off anything on the playa this year?
I’m not - took the summer off from building anything (though starting to pick up major library features and may end up building something by the end of summer in the Bay Area)
I’ll be bringing a piece we’re calling Zen Ball. It’ll be a 1meter wide table with an intricate pattern in wood, with the gaps in the pattern all lit up by LEDs. On the table top will be 2 large steel balls that’ll rotate around the table top triggered by activity picked up by two EEG headsets. It’ll be a kind of variant of the Mind Ball games that did the rounds a couple of years back, but with a lot more LEDs!
I’ll post some pictures once the full stack is up and running, hopefully next weekend.
I hope you’re at least also bleeding green and blue so you get all colors.

I am constantly amazed at what talented people can do with code – it’s like painting masterpieces with a keyboard… but harder. An artist can always claim any mistakes are part of the picture – not so the hard-working coder. I’d still be working with shift registers and monochrome LEDs if wasn’t for you guys. Thanks!
