I’ll soon have a new 3D printer with a head bad so I’ll be able to print ABS.

When alternating between PLA and ABS, anything special to do ? nozzle purge, cleanup,… ?

FYI the printer I will get is this one: http://electronicgeek.ca/products/reprap-prusa-i3-3d-printer-diy-kit-canada?variant=17581606403

Will complement very well my Printrbot simple Maker that I have been running for almost 3 years.

yeah heated bed… auto-corrector…

Thanks for the tips @Mark_Rehorst

Or you just stop trying ABS and print easier filament, like PETG or XT… Swapping between filaments is a no-brainer. Just new filament in and done. Prime the nozzle a bit, if it doesn’t match the color, done.

Did you already buy that one ? You could get better for a bit more.

@Jeff_Dewe Already did, but you can share the link.

Insulate the bottom side of the heated bed, use hair spray for adhesion and make a thermal enclosure. I run ABS (prusa Air2) and except for huge parts (7" or longer) I haven’t had significant warping.
I hope you can find mods for this printer! It looks shaky in the X direction…
