I’m currently working on the electronics of the 3d printer project and i need your help in choosing the rating of the power supply that i should get knowing that i’m using ramps 1.4 and i am willing to have heated bed

For a rough estimate (a bit on the high side), use 10W per stepper motor, 50W per hotend and 150W per 20x20cm heated bed. So a typical Mendel-class printer should be fitted with a 250W-ish PSU - the 12V, 20A supplies are a good choice and probably the most used type.
