I’m designing a SCT version of the truggy and i’ve run into a problem. The front a-arms/entire front assembly is at a 6.4º angle, which is making it very hard to design a drive shaft the can transfer the power from the rear to the front. Anyway, my question is does the angle of the a-arms matter?
If your drive shaft has a U joint then it shouldnt matter. I would see if its possible to put a counterangle on the front differential to maybe straighten out the path of the driveshaft.
@Blake_Dunham Yah my original plan was a u joint but because of the spacing, a u-joint might make it impossible to get the driveshaft on and off. Counter angling it might work though. I’ll look into that idea.
