I'm finally printing the last few bits for an i3 (original) and I'm not

I’m finally printing the last few bits for an i3 (original) and I’m not sure which extruder to use with a jhead nozzle. Recommendations?

I put a compact extruder on mine and I’ve had good experiences so far.

I went with a direct drive bowden, but that’s about to be changed to a dual qu-bd bowden.

I’m about to be using the gregs-wade-v3 out of the Prusa3 repository under extras. It has to be spaced quite far from the carriage though. My experience was documented here: https://plus.google.com/u/0/+TonyOlivo/posts/Fdbbwc2AccA

Thanks for the info guys. I’m going to try and get something printed this afternoon.

Any success with the direct drive variants?

Sorry, forgot to post a link of the one I used: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:26817

@ThantiK whats the dual one your thinking of? I am tempted to go dual too.

@Daniel_Wood something experimental I’m piecing together out of the parts that DeltaMaker uses.
