I’m getting the impression here that post Mac OS X 10.8.4 that the Horndis networking and serial driver are somewhat nonfunctional. With 10.9 just around the corner too, is there any work or workarounds that folks should know about when plugging in a BeagleBone Black into a Mac?
I’m using 10.8.5 without any problems. Can you document your issue? Have you contacted the Horndis developer?
I’m seeing a fresh modem interface appear every time I plug in the BBB, and no network interface at all. The BBB is there as its showing as a storage device but no networking. This is going from a clean install on 10.8.5 and on two different systems.
