I’m having no luck with the e3d hotebd! All user error though, they’ve been great with helping out every time!
How do you guys recommend getting the snapped-off bit of brass out of here:
I have various tools, only power tool is a dremel though.

If the brass is inside the steel, I’d just go get an easy out. It will grab the brass and back it out. You might still need to heat it up and get the plastic clear of the area so the easy out could be inserted far enough.
Somthing like this would be good,
Cheers, would any cheap screw extractor do the job? Like these http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B003JTDJSY/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?qid=1381173406&sr=8-3&pi=SL75
Try cutting a slot in the brass with the Dremel so you can use a flat screwdriver.
@Wylie_Hilliard is right. I’ve done this myself and that’s how I got it out. Worth heating is some first to loosen the plastic.
I used the tip of a conical burr to cut the slot btw.
Did you snap off the nozzle? How did you manage to do that? Over-tighten it? To get the bit out, I will agree with @Liam_Jackson . But heat it up for a bit to make sure that the plastic is melted. Otherwise you can’t get it out.
Yep I was having jamming issues so decided to tighten things up… When I first put it together I didn’t make anything too tight since I’d already bent a heartbreak by over tightening the heatsink!
