Im hoping someone can help as l am close to taking a hammer to this machine . The issue is that my laptop wont detect the machine, I know that a few people have had similar issues. I have done all the usual stuff so making sure the machine model and id is correct in corel draw etc . I have replaced the motherboard, so im pretty sure its a driver issue but as everyone knows , instructions are a bit thin on the ground so dont know if im missing a step or im installing the files. I have also tried it on a different laptop and it still wont detect. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Have you tryed a diffrent usb cable,is the usb key plugged into laptop

yep have tried a different cable and the key is plugged in

If you’re using windows, do you hear the ‘bong’ when you plug it in like windows at least sees it? Do you have any devices in your control panel with a question mark? Have you tried a different PC to rule out a laser issue?

i dont get any “bong” or any sign that windows is detecting it at all, i have tried it on 3 different laptops and none of them give any sign of detecting the machine , but other than the motherboard, which has been replaced what could be stopping it from being detected . but i would think windows would detect the machine regardless of whether the drivers were installed correct or not

are you running windows in a VM?

Sorry, don’t know what you mean?

a virtual machine, but I assume not… If you are running windows in a VM, depending on your VM player, it may not connect all of your peripherals automatically, thats what happened to me originally as I run this on a mac

ok, no, i am running on a standard windows machine

Ask seller, maybe faulty sofware disc, faulty cucruit board in laser cutter

I’m probably just going to send it back as it could be anything, in theory shouldn’t be the mother board as replaced that already

Are you using the standard use that was supplied,I tried a longer one and would not see the laser
