I’m looking for a filiment to use to print propellers for bumper boats at work, need a filiment with good strength, and not to difficult to print also needs to be ok with being submerged in water for long periods, max budget $50 per kilogram.
You may want to look into the Raptor series from MakerGeeks. You can also anneal it in the oven or boiling water to make it stronger. I have a couple rolls, but yet to print with it.
Search YouTube. There is a test of this very thing. Bumper boats should be easy, if i recall they tested them on 30hp engines
You could try this. Also shipping to usa. This material is as rigid as abs, and when crystallized in a convection oven it gets heat resistant up to 220 degrees. Nice stuff.
Yip been was a New Zealand company you will find the tests they did up on YouTube from memory ABS was the best product in the end
