I’m looking for a non translucent (or at least far less) glow in the dark pla. I recently started printing a few of these in both hatchbox white and translucent glow. The white ones look great great in the light, but the glow ones look horrid. And as you might imagine, the opposite is true in the dark. The glow is bright while the white is nonexistent.

I’d LIKE to be able to find a happy median, a glow in the dark 1.75 pla with a nice white color for when the lights are on. Preferably under $30. lol

My plan is to linger late one night and seed the rafters of my local tabletop gaming room with these guys. I think that if they look good, the adjacent shop that runs the place might consider leaving them for a few months, just until they get dusty or stolen. lol

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Cute

I speculate that the translucency allows that material to absorb And emit more light. So you wouldn’t get good daytime whiteness with a strong glow. Just guessing.

Well I use Reprapper Tech pla but find it slightly translucent so normally increase the perimeters to hide the infill.

But those are cute…

@Kenneth_Cummings I know, I don’t need them to glow for a long time, just long enough for someone to leave the room.

that’s so cool, are the stl files available?
tks

@Joerick_P_saiyolang , of just search thingiverse for “Kodama” and “tree spirit” for this whole set. You’ll need to scale them to match.
