I'm new to 3d printing and just finished my first printer,

I’m new to 3d printing and just finished my first printer, a qu-bd two up. After spending about an hour in cura I thought I had everything perfect for the first run. When I ran the 20mm calibration cube the x axis didn’t stop and just kept running. Please help!

Was this during the home all sequence? If so, your end stops might not be associated with the right axis.

Generally, that is referred to as the y axis. The x is the extruder moving

Does the 2 up have end stops? I thought the lack of was one of the ways they kept the cost down…

Could be backwards is the firmware. Endstop configured backwards also does some weird stuff.

The OneUp/TwoUp have no end-stops. You have to do all the homing work yourself.

@Joseph_Chiu I had thought that I had homed the printer in repetier but it still keeps going.

Well that sucks. Adds very little cost for a much increased upgrade.

Did you manually issue the G92 x0 y0 z0 command? And remove the G28 command as well?

I’m sorry I don’t know enough about any of this. I’ll just add end stops because there only about $7.

Then when you hit home it will home and your ready to go.
