@Louise_Driggers I was thinking about why they charge so much for little prints they rip off and still get 100% positive feedback. I think they are a front for drugs.
Someone buys the drugs, they run it though ebay and it’s all legal money because IRS and local cops say they sold a “product”. Kinda like when mob bosses would open pizza places and have very little customers visit but lots of sold pizza! Just thinking out loud…

@Fred_U , so this guys is saying…put in a watermark, post it as a non STL but most of all don’t post it, share it, make life better for others in the first place. Oh sure, once it’s on the big bad web expect it to be stolen. Expect your rights to it to be hijacked too. Why? Because you don’t have the money to hire big time lawyers to protect it. However, all the publicity this has garnered will surely not reflect well on this eBay vendor and maybe, just maybe, humanity will redeem itself that way…

Just wow…now I won’t be uploading anything to share, just photos. You then have to formally ask for the STL and sign a document…not that anyone cares about my stuff, but you get the idea. Then way to stop all this is to make it unprofitable. If each designer offered to print a copy (where possible) for a small fee and everyone else watermarks maybe it gets this to stop. As a 3D Hubs user and Hub owner that is how I will be going for anything I care about.
@Tinkering_On_Steroid that kind of behavior will not be tolerated here. I ensured that I put enough roadblock in my comment that unless someone knew how to go about finding that info, they’d have to actively seek it out. Please don’t directly post peoples private information like that.
Don’t play dumb with me. Other mods brought it to my attention, I just wanted to give you a fair chance to change the behavior.

I hate to see the damage stupid people cause that affects the whole community! The gifted artists (I’m not one if them 
) in this community have been so generous with their work! It’s sad when they have to reconsider that generosity!
Some of you guys have my video a little bit skewed… If you are so against your design being taken and possibly sold / used in a commercial project then yeah, probably should think twice about uploading it…
Otherwise, go ahead - heaps of people just don’t care how their work is used on the net (myself included for many designs) and want to release it for the greater good, which is the whole idea of open source. This is regardless if someone ends up trying to sell prints of it or use it for commercial purposes.
Hope that clears things up a little - my video is pretty blunt mostly because I’ve worked in this industry for years and seen it again and again.
