I’m really new to LaserWeb and I’m having trouble using ‘Laser Fill Path’ on planar surfaces that I have created in Rhino 3D and exported as ‘dxf’ to LaserWeb. I just cannot get LaserWeb to generate the code for these files.
Could anyone help, please.
For reference I have attached an image showing the dxf file on the page in LaserWeb (it’s a spectacle frame), my settings and the g-code that is produced (the little dots are just reference points)
Thanks +Peter van der Walt - I’m trying to create a Scheme in Rhino to do this, do you happen to have any settings you can share as I was using one of the defaults.
Does this seem right?
I used rhino, don’t remember having issues
I’ve tried using those settings from Lasersaur to export from Rhino but after clicking ‘generate’ there is virtually nothing in the g-code so it isn’t working. I can cut fine but not ‘fill’ if that makes sense. I have attached my workspace as suggested.

I figured it out! I have attached the settings you need in to export dxf from Rhino to LaserWeb incase anyone else needs to do this in the future. Basically you have to use the R12 setting and set everything to Polylines (everything that can be set to Polylines, everything else remained the same)
Yes,I had tried the R12 preset that comes with Rhino, it was your comment that made me try the poly lines, thanks
