DEFINITELY PrintrBot Simple Metal. It is always the most suggested at this price range. @Brook_Drumm1 makes great things, and is great to his customers and the community.

Student making one project? I would say find someone near you that has one and ‘rent’ it for $100 or so while you’re doing your project.

Good point. If you’re only going to use it once, just “rent” one at a hackerspace, or send the design to a printing company.
