I’m the CTO of Mixed Dimensions and recently we launched a couple of plugins to help us disrupt 3D printing and make it more accessible, the first one allow file repair from within Cura which means faster workflows and less failed prints while the other enables character designers and artists using Daz to print their creations which used to be really difficult if not impossible given the amount of printability issues in these models.

You’re over-exaggerating a bit. Have you used Make Printable before? Mixed Dimensions is just a plugin for Cura for it, you still need to make an account with them. It has some interesting features but most users won’t make use of them for day to day printing. The main feature is just STL repair and I find Netfabb Basic does a much better job.
@Adam_Steinmark Hi Adam, I’m the CTO of the company. When was the last time you tried MakePrintable? did you tried our latest fixer (Mammoth)? We won’t be only STL repair soon and GamePrint is a complete printing service, we also introduced Fabrelic which is a marketplace
@Adam_Steinmark you can expect also a standalone software that goes beyond only fixing plus more partnerships over the next few months, if you are interested in beta testing the standalone then PM me =)
I stopped using is as much when you guys put a limit on the downloads, does the plugin for Cura allow for unlimited free repairs? GamePrint looks interesting, I’ll have to wait until I see it in action to say more. Fabrelic doesn’t really appeal to people with their own printer like me. I’d be interested in hearing more about what else the standalone software does.
