Im very interested in the titian extruder. How do you guys feel it would stand up to flexible material in a bowden setup (rostock max)?
Also I got the legends pack and was wondering a few things as well… the temp seems to drop dramatically when using the volcano nozzles, Any tips?

It’s probably one of the best designed extruders for flexibles. It properly constrains filament all the way through the zone in which it is pushed.

The bondtech, is also designed pretty well in this regard and constrains flexibles pretty well.

I haven’t had a chance to push much flexible stuff through our Titan, but it is fully constrained. If budget isnt an issue, I’d choose the bondtech, but they both are well-executed extruders

It looks good but it’s only been available for a week. It might be best to wait a bit for the more adventurous people to hammer on it. I haven’t seen anyone say they’ve been running it yet, probably people waiting for shipping and some are still adapting their machines to mount it.

Having had hands on one at MRRF, and seeing in print, I think it’s probably one of the best designs for flexible filament out there.

That said, I think it’s still going to be equally as crap as any other extruder trying to push flexi through a bowden tube.

If I were going to use it on my delta, I’d really consider mounting it on the effector or at least using it as a flying extruder with as short a tube as possible.

I’ll close saying I’ve always failed - miserably - at getting flexi to work through a bowden, so maybe someone knows some magic I don’t!
