I’m waiting for the mail to drop off a piece from 80/20 and then I’ll head downtown to attach all axes. I’ve got the wires organized for screwing into the VFD and I purchased 220v cord & outlet for the spindle (Tim @ Maven Makers Just has to wire the 220. The spindle has been soldered and connected. I have the water pump with inlet and outlet going to and from the spindle. I have to check the Pinouts for the e-stop & limit switches going into the breakout board. I have tried to mount most of the electronics to either the enclosure chassis or a piece of lexan to be mounted at the bottom of the enclosure. The motors and ballscrews have been mounted, but I still need to either adjust the distance of the Z-axis motor closer to the ballscrew or forget trying to use a pulley on the Z axis. Lord willing, I will be able to report some type of tangible progress later this week, if Tim gets the 220V outlet wired before the weekend.

A thought? Wire in a flow meter to the e-stop circuit so your single doesn’t cook if the pump pukes?

@Kyle_Kerr I’m afraid you lost me.

hes suggesting a flow meter that will trigger the e-stop if the water pump fails for any reason. Can prevent spindle overheating(replace single with spindle in his comment :P)

Yes. I eventually figured it out and uploaded an item from Amazon to see if he was talking about something like that.
