Never seen that z axis design before. Pretty cool
@Abc_Def this really old z system derived from Mondrian --> falla 3d printers i review this system for my printer
This z are really slow on next iteration if hbot motion move fine use tr8 screws
The Z idler pulley are way too far apart, this could result in pulley skipping because there is few teeth engaged on the belt.
Bring the pulleys closer together. Case and point, look at the shapeoko 3 Y axis pulley engagement.
iean no need have more near… have some exprience on this with falla 3d and in bondage making Quadrap printer.
