In addition to using openvoronoi and opencamlib from FreeCAD it would be nice if my early cutting-simulation code could be taken a step further, perhaps integrated with the already existing linuxcnc G-code interpreter:

Looking for skilled coders with knowledge of 3D/opengl, GUIs, threading, linuxcnc (in particular the interpreter) !!

All this stuff is impressive! It would be awesome to see it all integrated into @FreeCAD and LinuxCNC.

Linuxcnc is GPLV2. That seems to be license incompatible. http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-faq.html#AllCompatibility

I can re-license it under GPLv2+ if that makes a difference for the lawyers out there…

The CAM2-module in FreeCAD is an API for toolpath-generators.
A TPG is a plugin. Thus, AFAIK, it doen’t need to have the same license as FreeCAD.

@Anders_Wallin For LinuxCNC it would certainly make a difference. LGPL 2.1+ would be even better.
