In conjunction with Toronto General Hospital’s Advanced Perioperative Imaging Lab, researchers at the Semaphore Research Cluster at the University of Toronto, have been using the Discov3ry extruder to 3D print heart valve models and other organs to determine the efficacy for the creation of low cost medical models.
