In preparation for Valentine’s Day, I’m starting to run some roses. I think they are coming out great! There are a few designs on Thingiverse that I think I’ll use to make my wife a bouquet with red, white, and pink roses. Maybe I could find some rose-scented essential oils or something and take it even further.
If your looking for smells a lot of soap making places have them in seasonal packs. I bet that would work.
@Justin_Garski Perfect! That’s a fantastic idea.
Aww! That’s so sweet! I’m sure she will absolutely love it!
What a great print project
@Dan_Fryling And helpful in justifying getting a 3D printer!!
They are fun and can be practical
Absolutely! It a hobby that I’ve gotten really excited about lately!
Surely it must be red white n blue roses, pink is just weak red lol
I’ve been looking on thingiverse and nothing quite matches (ie up to the standard) of the ones in your pictures. Would you mind putting links up please? Definitely going to try to do this for the wife - normally I don’t do flowers so she suspects I’ve been a naughty boy if I do (ie bought another bike or gps watch!)
@Antony_Twig_Rose sorry I didn’t post this earlier. I need to get into the habit of including my sources. This is what I printed:
@Daniel_Jackman you star! Thanks
@Chris_Bell maybe for the 4th of July…or if we ever go to Texas.
That is a great high quality rose print you have there. Nice job!
Find some files of dead ones and swap them back and forth. She gets fresh roses every week. Printer will be justified in no time flat!
@Daniel_Jackman sorted, thanks
missing/deleted image from Google+
@Antony_Twig_Rose beautiful! Did you have any issues with internal stringing between the peddles?
@Daniel_Jackman there are really thin whisps between the petals. I’ve got rid of some of them with some small pliers. There are a few left but I think they look fantastic anyway!
