Ingentis build instructions/blog type thing is live. Only 2 pages done so far. I swear it takes longer to explain how you build something than it does to build it.

Awesome!, I’ll have a read later :slight_smile:

Very good work! I agree with you, I think it will be a tough job when I go to write instruction for the BadPrinter…

Nice work.

Nice. I hadn’t noticed that you didn’t use printed corner braces. Did you end up using any of the aluminum braces you purchased? Did you find your mounting method stronger than using the aluminum braces?

@Tim_Rastall I agree also. I had to do technical writing for a company I worked for and it was a tedious job. Explaining something in writing is so much more difficult than explaining verbally.

Nice!, will build one!

@Tim_Rastall just got around to reading your post.

Can’t wait for the rest :slight_smile:

I was wonder, do you have the measurements to the (threaded poles) laying around?

Guess I could also work them out but would be interesting to see what you were working with.

@Eric_Moy I found them to be unnecessary as the method I describe gives a very strong joint. I will add some brackets later though I think, to make it a bit more rugged for transportation.

@Yomi_Colledge Do you mean lead screws for the Z axis? If so, I’m not using them. The bed is driven by belts.

@Tim_Rastall Ahh, sweet :slight_smile:

@Paolo_Amboni Spectra works fine once I got the tension right. Still experimenting with the Z axis, works but it’s not perfect yet.
