Interesting trends happening in the industry. Filament recyclers in particular interest me. These guys may be key to both environmentally sound industry, as well as making it accessible to the masses.

Interesting article. I’ve observed a real increase in filament extrusion projects in the last 12 months, but a key part to true recycling, as against buying pellets to feed an extrusion hopper, is a robust shredder device. Filamaker have put a lot of work into their shredder. It looks strong. Haven’t seen too many “desktop” sized plastic shredders yet, but they may come. Time will tell.
