Is here someone who knows the weight of the E3D hotend? I mean including the fan, heater cardrige, cables, fan duct and so on.
I tried to find it on the E3D site but I’ve only found the weight of the heatsink.
Thanks in advance!

If no one has replied in a couple of days I’m moving mine over to my new printer so I can weight it then
@Richard_McKenna
This would help me a lot! Thank you very much!
Are we talking specifically the V6? I have a lite 6 sitting here not on its printer yet.
Well, if I could get both values it would be even better
By the way, I’m actually working on a small excel sheet that will help to calculate the motors for 3D printers. In addition it will also deliver some other useful informations. But defining the correct boundary conditions is very important. Therefore I actually try to include as many useful informations as possible.
I’ve got a brand new E3D V6 that I have not assembled yet. I put all of the parts onto my scale and it came out to 75g, excluding the wires, about 110g with everything.
@Bruce_Moore
When you say "excluding the wires) I guess you mean only the metal parts? That means :
Or does it only exclude the Thermistor and heater cardrige?
@Sven_Eric_Nielsen That’s everything except the long coils of wire to connect the heater, thermistor and fan. Heater and thermistor cartridges, all metal parts, fan assembly and assorted hardware bits are included - - even the silicone boot.
@Bruce_Moore
Great, thanks a lot!
