Is it worthwhile to dismantle a dead Dell 1710n for servos for a BBB? The service doc mentions 3 - the laser servo, the transfer servo, and the interpage servo. What about sensors?
It’s a dead printer, and one or more of the servos likely work. You can just throw it out, but can throw out a $20 Bill too.
If don’t think you will ever use the parts drop them off at your local Maker Space.
Don’t forget to factor into the equation: Do you have a wife or live in girlfriend? If so, how full is your “When do you plan to clean up all your junk???” buffer?
