Is my filament wet? Or is it something else?

there is a pattern - wet filament seldom causes pattern to emerge.

@Ulrich_Baer Ok so… what else could it be? under extrusion maybe

I would assume a clogged noozle - transport issue or extrusion settings. Yes it seems to be some kind of under extrusion - try to ad 10% flow and see what happens. Maybe reduce speed if you printing fast. Try to print the part 45° rotated(z)

@Ulrich_Baer Ok thanks I will try that:)

assuming your prints were well before, and you haven’t changed your settings - check the extruder gear if it is clogged hence the filament is slipping. Or mark 20cm filament and extrude 200mm see if that matches.

@Isaiah_Charanduk Looks like under extrusion. Could be from a variety of causes. Printing too fast at too cool a temperature. Hobbed gear full of chip or slipping. Nozzle blockage. Minor heat creep. PTFE tube (if your extruder has one) is worn out.

Is this something that just showed up with a new roll of filament? If so it could be that you need to thermally calibrate your filament. It is shrinking more than anticipated when it cools.

@Jeff_Parish It is a new roll of filament.

then check filament diameter - per 0.01difference in ∅ add 1% flow.

@Ulrich_Baer Ok Thanks

@Isaiah_Charanduk These clips in the links below can help you dial in the thermal properties of your filament. The chart that Ulrich posted can help you figure out the proper settings or you can adjust the filament diameter in your slicer.

@Jeff_Parish Oh ok I will try that thanks.

You are printing the outer layer of the shell too fast.
