Is My Stepper Driver shot?

I am building a d bot and using all identical Stepper 17 motors. I was testing my xy and z steppers today. One stepper does not move, it tries to move but it acts like it does not have enough power to move, or the motor is stuck.

After some troubleshooting I learned that it is not the stepper motor. Moving the wires from a working stepper (and wire) to the M2 stepper driver on the smoothieboard makes the problem follow the M2 driver. That is to say… the problem follows the M2 connection on the board and all the wires and stepper motors work fine when connected to M1 or M3.

As far as I can see, it is either a blown stepper driver or a bad config for that connection. THe config file is below.

Imported from wikidot

stupid rule… I cannot post the link to the paste bin. I know of no other way to get the config file here (copy paste has links in it and becomes real hard to read when pasted directly)

so if you go to
http://pastebin.com/QM0yRKJH

that link will have the config file.

I can not see your configuration file, I’m new to smoothieboard too.

Maybe they are too high values of speed or acceleration on that axis? Are the 3 axes configured for the same acceleration and speed?

You most probably want either much lower movement speed, or much lower acceleration for that axis, or both.
